KSAK is a high-efficiency residence that ,communicates with its surroundings— atmospheric, natural, and built—through a series of sustainable material, construction, and formal strategies.
The exterior perimeter of the house, linear, hard, and opaque, contrasts with the curvilinear materiality and geometry inside, responding to the prevailing winds from the coast and creating outdoor spaces protected from the strong east winds that hit the area.
The facades use sustainable construction systems and circular, locally sourced materials, reinventing traditional ceramic solutions from the Mediterranean coast.
The outdoor spaces, both on the ground floor and on the roof, are renaturalized with native vegetation, benefiting both interior energy efficiency and the better integration of the residence into the landscape and surroundings.
