We have designed this office, the corner where we design corners. The search for the perfect space has been intense; our first architecture studio couldn’t be just anywhere. We found it in the best corner of the Old Town of Cartagena, 5×5 meters with four French doors, high ceilings, and glossy floors.
We transformed a lawyer’s office from the last century into a circular architecture and design office, reusing and recycling. It’s a minimal intervention that reflects our distinctive approach to design, turning the place into a cozy, fresh, and bright space.
We removed the false ceiling and textured the floor slab with foam for acoustic and thermal insulation. We kept the recessed spotlights but suspended them with wires. We respected the French doors, windows, and shutters, preserving the essence of the old building. We painted everything in a nuclear white, multiplying the brightness. We surrounded ourselves with plants, books, and materials. We designed a table that is two, where we project, draw, and hold meetings.
